12 miles. 4,200 ft of elevation gain. Finish at the base of the towers.

3rd day of W hike - Lago Nordensköld

Eight mile hike from Cuervos Refugio to Refugio Las Torres (base for our 4th day of hiking). Mostly following Lake Nordensköld.

2nd day of W hike - French Valley

16 miles, 3,900 feet of elevation gain. On the way to the top (Mirador Base Las Torres) we passed many mountain glaciers, some of them calving ice in thunderous noise.
